# Can I use Flagship even if my SDK stack is not available?

You might be convinced that Flagship, our feature management, and experimentation software, is only compatible with companies that have an infrastructure built exclusively with integrated SDKs such as Android, IOS, NodeJS & JS, React, etc. But you can, in fact, use Flagship even if your SDK stack is not available, thanks to our decision API.

## **📝** Explanation

To illustrate, an SDK can be compared to a library that you will download onto your codebase to use pre-made functions. The Flagship SDKs are made of pre-coded methods that will facilitate the communication of your code base with our decisional API. this is the control center of Flagship, which in a way will allow you to perform your experiments and feature management.

If the SDK you are looking for is not available, you can easily implement Flagship in your codebase with a simple HTTPS request to the Decision API.

To find out how to successfully communicate with our Decision API, please refer to the [developer portal](https://developers.flagship.io/docs/decision-api/v2).
