[Troubleshooting] My user do not see my patch
You have launched a campaign targeting all visitors to correct an issue on your website, and yet visitors are not seeing it. Here's why:
Possible cause: Your campaign is not a patch
AB Tasty provides a Patch feature. But it is possible to create a patch thanks to classic experimentation or a personalization campaign by allocating all the traffic to one variation and applying no segmentation. The system will consider it as a Patch if it fits the following conditions:
1) 100% of traffic is allocated to the variation
2) No segment is applied
Handling consent
In your account privacy settings, you can set which type of campaigns will be executed without consent. Both campaigns of the patch type and campaigns that are detected as patches would follow this setting.
Recommended solution
Even if it is possible to use an experimentation or a personalization campaign to create a Patch, we do not recommend it.
