# Set up your platform

<figure><img src="/files/KkolFnavv0s3QCC8hnJm" alt="info box : My team’s first challenge is making sure our tools are ready to go—fast. We want to connect our domain and get the AB Tasty tag live so we can start experimenting without waiting on dev sprints. But we also need to be sure everything’s working perfectly, so our data is clean and our tests are reliable. My goal? Get from zero to “ready to test” in a single morning, with no surprises."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
AB Tasty’s setup is designed for speed and confidence. With a simple tag and clear verification steps, you can launch experiments quickly and know your data is solid. No heavy IT lift required.

### Install the AB Tasty Tag

{% hint style="info" %}
AB Tasty recommends Manual installation (paste JavaScript tag in your website HTML code). This solution requires 5 minutes of your time and allows the best performances and flicker-free user experience. \
If you want to test another method (using Google tag manager for instance), please read our [Tag installation documentation](/account/tag-integration/understand-ab-tasty-tag-implementation-methods.md).
{% endhint %}

1. On the Implement the AB Tasty Tag field, select **Standard**.
2. Copy the synchronous AB Tasty tag script from the platform.
3. Paste it into the `<head>` of your HTML, as early as possible.&#x20;
4. Save and deploy changes.
5. To finalize, on the [Tag Implementation Page](https://app2.abtasty.com/settings/installation-code/tag), click **I’m done**

<figure><img src="/files/f60XMIRTt3GK6FXvJshQ" alt="info box Amari testimony &#x22;I&#x27;m not a developer, so I wasn&#x27;t sure where to paste the JavaScript. I simply dropped a quick request to our webmaster with the link to the AB Tasty tag installation documentation, and they had it done in just a few minutes. No back-and-forth, no delays: just a simple handoff that got us up and running fast.&#x22;"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Verify tag implementation

Open your website and check that the tag is loading.

{% hint style="info" %}
For furtherr verification, use AB Tasty [Chrome extension](/web-experimentation-and-personalization/editors-and-widget/chrome-extension.md): if the Tag is correctly implemented, the Chrome extension displays Tag version and weight.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

For More QA Methods or resolution, read our [QA and Validate Your AB Tasty Tag](https://docs.abtasty.com/account/tag-integration/qa-and-validate-your-ab-tasty-tag) article.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.abtasty.com/onboarding/web-experimentation-and-personalization-quick-start-guide/set-up-your-platform.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
