# Category
The first step in configuring your **merchandising** is to select the category or categories to be sorted.
## Category Selection:
* * The platform provides a list of checkboxes containing all your categories.
* Simply select the category or categories to which you want to apply general merchandising rules.
## Apply to All Categories:
* If you want to apply general merchandising to all categories, you can select "all" option.
## Flexibility:
* You can change your selection at any time to adjust the merchandising configuration as needed.
## Push your merchandinsing
After highlighting products, click the ‘Deploy changes’ button to ensure your changes are applied.
On the top-right header, you can get the emerch ID to call in your website if you need it
## Preview the merchandising
At any point, go to the bottom to visualise the results of your changes.\
Use the preview to ensure the merchandising meets your expectations.
