# Options
The **Options** section allows you to apply settings that affect the entire recommendation. These options provide additional control over how recommendations are displayed and ensure they align with your desired user experience.
## Available Options
### Exclude Cart Items
This option hides products that are already in the visitor's cart.\
**Why Use It?**\
Avoids recommending items the visitor has already shown interest in or intends to purchase.\
Helps provide fresh and relevant suggestions to the user.
### Recommended Fixed Number of Products
Allows you to define a fixed number of products to display in the recommendation.\
**Why Use It?**\
Ensures consistency in the visual layout and user experience.\
Useful for maintaining uniformity across recommendations in different placements.
### Minimum Number of Results in Recommendations
Enables you to set a minimum threshold for the number of recommended products.\
If the number of recommended products falls below this threshold, the recommendation will not be displayed in the experience.\
**Why Use It?**\
Ensures that recommendations appear only when enough relevant products are available.\
Avoids displaying incomplete or sparse recommendations that may impact user engagement.
## Save Your Configuration
After adjusting the options, click the ‘Save’ button to ensure your changes are stored.
## Preview the Recommendation
Use the ‘Preview’ button in the top-right corner to visualise how the options affect the recommendation’s appearance and behaviour.
