# Shopify Integration

To successfully integrate your Shopify store with the AB Tasty Recommendations & Merchandising platform, please follow the detailed steps below.

### Step 1: Access the Integrations Page <a href="#h_01jdmmf868hf8a0jkxfz897d4g" id="h_01jdmmf868hf8a0jkxfz897d4g"></a>

Navigate to the ‘Integrations’ page in the platform by clicking on your avatar in the top-right corner of the interface.\
Locate the Shopify icon and click on the ‘Connect’ button directly below it.

The platform will display a step-by-step instruction window to guide you through the connection process.\
Open the Shopify admin interface in a new tab.

### Develop Apps for Your Store <a href="#h_01jdmpdy1gygm92hh25essdxzx" id="h_01jdmpdy1gygm92hh25essdxzx"></a>

* In the Shopify admin interface, go to ‘Develop apps for your store’.
* Click ‘Continue’ in the platform’s instruction window to move to the next step.

### Create an App <a href="#h_01jdmpecqb0k5b4wvxkpqkt4ez" id="h_01jdmpecqb0k5b4wvxkpqkt4ez"></a>

* In the Shopify admin interface, click on ‘Create an app’.
* Enter ‘AB Tasty’ as the app name.
* Click ‘Continue’ in the platform’s instruction window.

### Configure Admin API Scopes <a href="#h_01jdmpen0wdhn25t704thm4pry" id="h_01jdmpen0wdhn25t704thm4pry"></a>

* In the Shopify admin interface, click on ‘Configure admin API scopes’.
  * Select the following scopes:

    ```
    read_inventory
    ```

    ```
    read_orders
    ```

    ```
    read_product_listings
    ```

    ```
    read_products
    ```

    ```
    read_locales
    ```

    ```
    read_translations
    ```

    ```
    read_markets
    ```

    ```
    write_products
    ```
  * Click ‘Continue’ in the platform’s instruction window.

* Click ‘Continue’ in the platform’s instruction window.

* In the Shopify admin interface, click on ‘Install app’.
* Click ‘Continue’ in the platform’s instruction window.

### Retrieve API Credentials <a href="#h_01jdmppakem14r11a176m3t03e" id="h_01jdmppakem14r11a176m3t03e"></a>

* In the Shopify admin interface, retrieve the following values:\
  \*
  * Hostname
  * Admin API access token
  * API Secret
  * Admin API secret key
* In the platform, enter these values into their corresponding fields.
* Click ‘Connect Shopify’ to finalise the integration.

## Verifying Your Integration <a href="#h_01jdmptppbg9z3xfed12f7qxkp" id="h_01jdmptppbg9z3xfed12f7qxkp"></a>

1. Return to the platform interface by clicking ‘Back to Dashboard’ in the top-left corner.
2. Navigate to the ‘Catalog’ tab in the left-hand menu.

* If your products are displayed, the integration is active and operational.
* If no products appear:
  * Verify that you followed all steps correctly.
  * Check for errors in the API credentials or configuration.
  * If the issue persists, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for assistance.
