Set-Up your Tag domain delegation

This feature is currently part of an Early Adopters program. Please contact your CSM to benefit from it.

The Tag Implementation Page supports two hosting methods:

1. AB Tasty Hosted – Default

2. AB Tasty Delegated

This article helps you implement a Tag domain delegation implementation article. If you want to delegate the Tag, please read Set-Up The AB Tasty Tag in 5 minutes.

Subdomain Setup

Warning : Do not choose a keyword that might be blocked by third-party extensions

1. Enter a subdomain (e.g., scripts.yourdomain.com)

2. Click Save to trigger infrastructure setup.

The Status Pending appears until the DNS records are generated.

DNS Configuration

1. When the Two DNS records are displayed, configure them in your domain provider.

2. Click Check implementation to trigger DNS check and tag refresh.

Implementation Code

• Once DNS is verified, your custom tag appears.

• Copy the content of the synchronous tag code.

• Open your website code.

• Paste the synchronous tag code between the </head> tags of your pages.

• Go back to The Tag Implementation Page.

• Click I’m done to finalize.

• Implementation verification is handled automatically. Your tag will be refreshed upon validation.

Good to know: Once your account tag is installed, there's no need for further action: it's not a testing tag. For verification, refer to our How to QA the Generic Tag article.
