πŸ“– Definition

You can filter the reporting results to obtain more specific data based on certain criteria and thus go deeper into the analysis of your experiments and feature management use cases. By default, no filters are applied.

You can select one or more filters among the following:

  • Date

  • Transactions

  • Items

  • Events

  • User context keys

βš™οΈ Configuration

Filtering by date

Filtering by date can be useful when you want to analyze the results of your experiments or feature management use cases over a specific period of time. To do this, you can select the Start and End date of the period you want and then click on the APPLY button:

⭐ Good to know

The conversion rate, transaction, value, uplift and significance are updated, taking the applied filters into account. The number of unique visitors is also updated. It displays the number of unique visitors who match the applied filters.

Filtering by data

Transactions

Filter the results based on Transaction data. The following filters are available:

  • Shipping method (shipping method used in a transaction)

  • Payment method (payment method used in a transaction)

  • Currency (currency used in a transaction)

  • Coupon (coupon or discount code associated with a transaction)

  • Transaction ID (unique ID of the transaction)

  • Affiliation (KPI name you will be able to select inside the Flagship dashboard reporting)

  • Revenue (total revenue associated with a transaction)

  • Shipping (total shipping costs of a transaction)

  • Item count number (number of items included in a transaction)

Items

Filter the results related to the items. The following filters are available:

  • Transaction ID (link the item to a transaction with a matching Transaction ID)

  • Item name (name of an item)

  • Item code (item's SKU or product code)

  • Item price (price for a single unit of an item)

  • Item quantity (number of units of an item which have been purchased)

  • Item category (product category related to an item)

Events

Filter the results related to the events. The following filters are available:

  • Event category (Action Tracking or User Engagement)

  • Event action (KPI name you will be able to select inside the Flagship dashboard reporting)

  • Event label (supplementary description of your event)

  • Event value (monetary value associated with an event)

User context keys

In the User context keys section, you have access to all the context keys of your users that have been assigned to your use case. A drop-down list appears when you select the dedicated field as shown here:

Multi-filtering

You can combine several parameters within the same filter:

⭐ Good to know

When you apply one or more filters to the reporting results, these may take several seconds to load.

πŸ’‘ Use case

Let's say you want to set up an Experiment on the " Purchase " button of your drone products, on your e-commerce website for all your users.

You create an A/B test, set up your "Purchase" primary KPI as transaction rate, transaction revenue, and average revenue, and launch your test. Once its reliability is reached, you can analyze its results from the reporting.

At the same time, you receive a message from a co-worker asking for the results for the VIP users who paid with the EUR currency specifically.

You could have targeted this specific segment of visitors when configuring your feature but you remember you can use the filters to target the results of the report:

  1. Click FILTERS > Transaction.

  2. Select Currency > EUR.

  3. Click on User Context Keys and select isVIP.

  4. Select true.

  5. Click APPLY.
